A difficulty with Calvinism ("Once Saved, Always Saved")
If we really have no choice, shouldn’t God save us to the uttermost without our consent? In other words, if getting saved in the first place was not our decision, why, then, does God leave our ‘progressive sanctification’ up to us, as a life-long struggle? The same God that’s omnipotent enough to save us without our say should also be strong enough to completely purify us without our say either. The devil is revealed in the fact that with one voice they claim “God’s righteousness alone” but with another voice claim that His righteousness and sovereignty aren’t enough to make them holy.
